Project description:
The latest developments all around the world brought us to a completely new reality and new evaluation of our lives. Youth workers play an important role with their skills and knowledge in supporting young people and their communities to mobilize themselves, they help young people in dealing with emotions and finding their place and their voice in society.
The youth workers facilitation competences constantly need to be improved in order to make the facilitating of learning experiences with groups of young people more and more effective. In this training course as a consortium we wanted to put a bigger focus on the youth workers.
The general objective of this project is to give youth workers space to meet and to explore with each other, to support individual youth workers to improve their facilitation skills, to explore different methods and approaches of non-formal learning, to improve their cognitive and affective facilitating skills, therefore, impacting the quality of on the ground face to face youth work.
